My Little Sister!

You came, wailing into my world...
And stole the limelight out of me!

Annoying at first, a truly intolerable presence...

But slow and steady,
'YOU' walked your way into my heart...

Bringing light to an emotion; so alien to me!

For until then,
I never knew, how to care!

As I was, always the one, that was cared for...

Now, no matter,
However hard I try, to run away from it, the more,

I care for YOU, endlessly, and

I love YOU with all my heart...

Because... it was always meant to be

She broke away from her spell with the star studded midnight sky and let her gaze rest upon him. His face was as radiant as the rising sun. His eyes were a reflection of the millions of hopes n promises of a lifetime of happiness.

She still remembered the day she hesitantly took that big step and agreed to be with him for the rest of her life. He seemed to be so different from her back then. She was even afraid if she could ever fall in love again. She was angry at him back then, even when she had plainly rejected this proposal of love he had dared to go ask her parents for her hand in marriage.

'I can never feel for you the way you want me to' she'd told him.

'Yes, you can... And I am willing to patiently wait for that day.. No matter how long you take. I know you've suffered alot in love. I know how difficult it is for you to trust someone and fall in love again.... You only have to start trusting me.. The rest will fall in place in time....and I will put an end to all your sufferings. Can't you even give it a try??‘ He’d replied.

'A known devil is better than an unknown angel' was what her friends had to say.

'Alright let him keep waiting for things that will never happen' her heart said.

It was difficult, it took a toll on her patience, but slowly somewhere down the lane, and life started changing. Somehow with time, things started falling in place. She started liking everything about him, even the things she used to hate before. There was fresh new charm in him which she never noticed before. He slowly turned out to be everything that she ever wanted. He was as compassionate as a friend, as patient as a mother, as encouraging as a father. Her life now is a poetry which was beautifully penned by him.

She looked at him fondly and stretched her hands. He pulled her into his arms and held her tight.

And in the warmth of the embrace as she watched the platinum disc of the moon she realized with relief... That at last she has found her platinum day of love...

This post is part of the Platinum Day of Love contest in IndiBlogger.

Platinum for me is as unique and special as that moment when you realize you've found true love.

The happiness and the radiance within you can only be represented by a metal as radiant and as special as platinum.

The Silver Lining

Winds of change
whisper a silent prayer
of hope of faith
of a tomorrow full of love

Banishing the dunes
built on sands of time
of memories, of yesterdays
of promises that were made to be broken

A roar from above
a crack in the sky
rains of fury falling all over me
washing the pain of endless woes

Then came an eerie wave of silence
a kiss of sunlight against damp skin
basking in the glory of feelings so new
I opened my eyes to wonders anew

N I saw the silver lining
below the cloud so dark
beside the sun so bright
Oh Yes! The silver lining

When WeChat With Our Odd Favorites

Hunger strikes again… and when in hunger I am always in a state of dilemma. Mainly because I have too many favorite stuffs and among my favorites, its hard to choose one.. what would you do if you were asked to choose between both your eyes???.Secondly Though people say have you breakfast like a king, lunch like a common man and dinner like a beggar. Since I do not fall under any of these categories, I fool my little body to believe I should eat like a horse when it comes to all the three meals for the day.

Bored and confused I thought of browsing through the justeat app to decide on what to feed my lil tummy when I get a request to join a LiveChat from WeChat. Amused, I decided to join while I decide on what to have. Maybe they can even help me decide :D

Enter in  and I was all the more puzzled. I had to blink twice to be sure that I was seeing what I thought I was seeing. Sometime hunger strikes you too hard and creates visions of things that are never there.
There was one Malabar Biriyani (MB), Grilled Fish (GF), Puttu  (P), Fish de Casa (FDC) and Roasted Chicken (RC).Sigh!!  Just when I thought this would help me decide better, it just got worse.

With my mouth watering torrentially and my stomach grumbling loud like a roaring lion I said hi to the people present there..

MCB : Idaare?? Sugalle?? (Look who’s in.. dude hope you are doing great)
GF : Hi Sweetie!!
P : Namaskaaramunde.. (Namaskar)
FDC : Hola!!! Coma estas?? (Hello.. how are you?)
RC : Uh huh.. Cough cough hello..
Me : Hello Everybody! I’m doing good, Thanks how about you?

MCB : Nammakke sugham thanappa (I’ve been doing good)
GF : Am doing good, Thanks
P : Sugham thane ishta (Doing good buddy)
FDCa : estoy bien, gracias (I’m fine, Thank You)
RC : Phew!! Am smoking hot gal..literally
Me : Hey, wait a minute, since we have different people speaking in different languages, why don’t we communicate in a common language i.e English?? I don’t want de Casa to feel out of place in here.. she is as close to my heart as the rest of you

FDC : Greaaaat!! Garcias…Its beeeeen sooo deeffeeecult to follow what the others were sayeeeng
MCB : Ah nokaa (Alright I’ll try)

Me : So, can anybody tell me what am I and more than that what are YOU guys doing here?? I mean I never knew you could… you know use smart phones n all
P : Wel….l maybe you guys didn’t know we do get special “perks” when our performance goes higher than expected… and that’s when we get such privileges.
Me : Privileges? Perks?
RC : wheeze… forget it, you wouldn’t understand this part of it … wheeze… but you do understand why you are here right??
Me : No!! Absolutely no
GF : Aww.. you are so naïve my dear  and that’s so sweet …
FDC : I tink she is too hungry to have her brains working…
MCB : I second that De Casa..
P : You know?? You are the reason why we got the best performers back to back in our respective localities. And it is because of you that we got to use this new app and it is so amazing.
MCB : N so we decided to get together and Thank You for what you have done for us. N since you hail  from Malabar I thought would be perfect for me to invite you to this livechat
Me :  I WHAT??? REALLY??? I can’t believe this… but yeah.. on second thoughts.. considering the fact that I’ve been feasting on you guys for the past .. well I can’t really say how long… I guess it is possible for you to the the most savored dish …. WOW!!!!

P :  We don’t intent to take much of your time.. we know how hungry you are and we don’t want to take away someone’s or maybe one of our chance to serve you your majesty. We cannot tell you how grateful we are to you….

And So..together they said a Thank You Prayers and with that that incredibly enchanted call.

Somehow I didn’t want this chat to end.. It felt good to be appreciated by people whom you always look upon when you are in trouble (I mean hunger here ;-)) . Not every day you get to hear such beautiful words of gratitude from the one’s you value the most. You don’t really get to hear a Thank You Prayer from your favorite dishes for God’s Sake.

But that was it… a short, sweet and unforgettable experience that left me hungrier, more confused than before…. Now can you please help me decide on what to eat?? As I am really very very hungry right now!!!

Of Appraisal and Growth

Its that time of the year in the corporate world when you strive hard to prove that you are the best thing that has ever happened to the company. The time where you are in a rush to complete pending training's, brown bag sessions, white paper and blah blah blah.. The one's who were hardly seen at work suddenly seem to appear at the desk for long hours. There were even people ...u know cute guys.. that I haven't ever seen before..suddenly pop up from nowhere..... Ah! treat to the eyes....how I wish this period lasts ;-)

I look around and see eyeballs hanging out of panic-struck faces mechanically staring at their monitors lost in state of  trance oblivious of their surroundings. Seeing them I am reminded of the calm and composed standing yogis lost in a trance, emanating an aura of serenity. Given a choice I would prefer the latter state of trance to the former. Okies so back to where we were.. Ah yes... the appraisal time.

So there I was packing my bags all set to leave for the day when our dear Mr P (famously known as Blame Master)walks in with a long face.

Mr P : Hey, I see you've packed
Me    : Yeah, I see you haven't
Mr P : Ah! yah ...man am so screwed.. I really don't know what to do.. This appraisals am really gonna get screwed
Me   : Oh thats bad (with an Astonished expression!!!)  why wat happened.... you didn't do well last year??
Mr P : Ah! no not really... you know I do my things well... but the problem here is ...there are people called Career Counselors.. are you aware of it?
Me : Yeah of course I know (what?? you think I work for a different organization?)
Mr P : Well.. You know you are lucky. Your CC's, they  guide you and set the path for your career growth
Me : That's exactly what they are expected to do.
Mr P : Yeah but you know what?? Of all the people I ended up with a career counselor who never helped me.. All these days while others had their counselors shaping up their career I was struggling all alone not knowing what to do.
Me : But then you should've contacted him/her or maybe consulted our manager, he would've helped
Mr P : Not it doesn't work that way
Me : ( Huh! really??)
Mr P : Its all in the hands of the counselor and just because of that man, my growth is stunted. I am stuck here in the same place; While all the useless people grows without doing anything, I just get stuck for not having a proper counselor .....................  .................. ............................ ...................... ..................
Sigma... hey Sigma.... are you listening??
Me : Well to be frank, I really don't think a CC matters .. I mean really.. my CC has not bothered to get in touch with me ever.. neither has he acknowledged my pings each time I tried to contact him...
Mr P : OMG!!! Oh you poor girl... I really am worried for you now.. your career is doomed.. no matter what you do within the project, its not gonna do you any good.. how will you grow???
Me : Don't worry bout my growth pal,as I am growing and I will continue to grow ;-)
Mr P : Bye (With a puzzled expression)

I picked up my bag and walked towards the exit...

Of course I will grow.. with all that new recipes that I've been trying. All the weekend escapades with friends and impromptu lunches with BFF... I had to grow! He just doesn't get the point. Nobody gets the point! They ponder over things which are anyways not gonna improve. Why waste your today thinking about what happened in the past and whats going to happen in the future? Don't they ever realize that happiness is a choice. You either choose to be happy with what you have or you choose to be unhappy over that which would anyways not be yours.

Everybody needs a shower once in a while.

Everybody needs to shower every once in a while.
Now don't give me that puzzled expression. You must be wondering who doesn't shower, and who doesn't know that everybody needs to shower. Well, you'll know soon as to what I actually intend to talk about an entirely different form of shower here. Read on....

It feels great, to just stand under the shower after a tired day at work. Apart from washing away the dirt that is accumulated in your body as a result of the day's mayhem, it also removes the odor which results from the release of stress hormone and pheromones and the likes. The benefits of shower do not end there. There's something about a good long shower that gives you a desirable feeling. It eases relaxes you, soothes your tired body, rejuvenates you, leaving you feeling fresh and happy J

Just the same way, a shower once in a while is needed for a tired soul. For those of you who goes through a lot of emotional turmoil. Tears like showers, helps you rejuvenate yourselves. It removes the dirt of unwanted worries accumulated over the days. It washes away the blood and earth left behind by broken relationship. I agree It cannot heal a broken wound overnight, but it can dampen or maybe if I have to put it in the right words, it can help you diminish the scar and make it lighter each time u cry. It takes away the stench of wilting relationships and helps you start all over again. It relieves you if not forever but at least long enough to make you feel better by each passing moment.

You must always be careful not to overdo it. Just like how long showers leave your skin soggy and wrinkled, too much of crying also leaves you exhausted and tired and prone to chronic outbreaks.

So darlings cry less, shower once in a while and wash away those dirty emotions, shower on your own or grab someone for company. Lift yourselves up, laugh, watch the sky, go for a ride, have dollops of ice creams and loads of chocis!!
Cause we have just one life and its crazy and weird and funny and complicated with a lot of difficulties and mistakes and laughter and celebrations, separations and unions, losses and gains and we all know you can never come out of it alive. As where the sufferings end, that's where life ends.

Michael

Mia moved her hands over the blue pull over. That was the first ever gift that he got her, it was special and will always remain so. She heaved a sigh as she placed the empty mint jar back in her safe fondly remembering that evening at the park. At last, her heart felt lighter after all these years of walking around with the guilt of killing a heart so true.

Letting go, rather pushing off someone so loving, was a loss in itself, and she suffered for it. She had died from within, while she kept a straight face, refraining from indulging in any conversations that would make him realize it was the situations that led her to do what she did. Breaking his heart was never a thing she wanted to do, but she had to do exactly that to make him move on in life instead.

Mia felt the knot loosen from her chest. That notch of guilt fading away slowly. Michael didn't bother to tell her about his engagement even though they caught up over a small chat the very next day he got engaged, but thanks to the social network she got to know and Mia didn't bother to ask him why. She wished him a good future and ended the conversation there, if only should could tell him that… she's always missed him... Those late evening breaks at work, that Diwali celebration, those crazy dance practices... those midnight drives back from work, will always be fondly remembered by his good old POTATO.

Happy Children's Day!!

Running through the walkway, pushing aside all people on the way, banging on to one of my teachers and finally leaping forward and ending up my best buddy’s arms… Hugging each other and jumping around, creating our own form of dance and I thought.. Damn I could have used this one for the choreography competition. YES!! we have topped it up with another first position for the Indian music competition. That took us a step further to end up in the current leading position for the rolling house trophy this year. Two more results to go before we can sit back and relax.

Lunch time and we are anxious minds would not let us swallow more than what is required to fill our tummies. We decided to check out the stalls and play a game of ring-toss to calm ourselves. Jassim from the house that finished second walks in and says, Okay girls, now play a nice game and..let’s say the way we fair in this game would reflect our respective house’s final positions. We’ll call it a match

At a time when you have exhausted yourselves of all the competitions that you could possibly take part in, I found it extremely annoying that he could come up with another one of all the days on Children’s day. I decided to back out, but the forever high spirited lady that Shalu was, she convinced me that we could do it at least for our house’s sake :P
Two rounds down and we were almost losing it. Afraid that this might be the fate of our house as mentioned by his highness, we started taking the game too seriously. We panicked over every lost throw, I was back to chewing the very little millimeters of nails that were left after the month long competitions.

Can I play for the two of you?? Asked Sree.

No way, that way their house would win over ours, snapped back Jassim.

Well that okay, look at them, they look so miserable. They’re my friends and I wouldn’t mind if we lose out on the house and as he stretched out his hands to take the rings, he said something which sounded muffled and extremely distant…..

Have you submitted your timecards yet???

Hello, do you hear that?? Have you submitted your timecards yet??

And….I see myself staring down at a 17 inch monitor, fingers over the keyboards, with my manager staring down at me from the other end. I took me a minute and a half to gather myself and cook up a story of deep concentration and complex logic and how I was trying hard to find out the best way to implement it.

It happens Sigma, you don’t have to make that up, any working day post a long weekend ought to be a lazy day at work.. I understand.

Yeah you do understand that… but will you be able to understand if I told you I was thinking about the innocent selfless friendships, the healthy competitions and the ever wonderful companionship that once existed in our lives?? The selfless mentors our genuinely concerned teachers who helped us to be the person that we are today??

I miss them all on this Children’s day as I feel thankful to my parents for granting me the opportunity to experience with all these wonderful people in my life!

Sigh!!!

Ever wondered the importance of sighs in your life?? Those simplest forms of expressions, too trivial but the most significant ones... like a sigh of a mother at the first sight of her little one... the sigh of relief at the sight of a person you were frantically searching for?? The sigh of that secret admirer each time his lady passes by...A sigh of a little gal as she hugs someone tight... that long and heavy sigh of loss at the fond remembrance of good days gone by... that soft, special sigh of a woman at the thought of her beloved...  that warm selfless sigh of a dog when you hug him tight ... the sigh of the farmer as the first droplets of rain splashes over his sun-kissed cheeks.... that silent soft sighs that hides in the sobs of a woman abandoned by her man...

Sigh!!! All these days I've noticed with awe how it would slowly mark its humble presence in the most emotional of situations.... n then slowly retreat with the same aura of anonymity it came in with. Now I guess the sigh has finally started marking its importance more distinctly as the other day... amongst all the stupid things I think/say.. when I mentioned the importance of Sigh over a Sigh!!! I was pleased to hear a few voices reflect my thoughts over the significance of a sigh.....

N so I Sigh!!! at the thought of all those wonderful sighs I've felt... the sighs I've let out... the least noticed, but the most delicate and beautiful form of expressions... I have ever known....

Living in a Bubble

I've always wondered, how it feels like to live in a bubble.  Born to loving people who blew them to life, in a small ball of love....  Surrounded by an aura of soft light, protected from the harsh rays of the summer sun .....  With the deafening noises of the outside world  a faint, distant melody to their little ears....
Rising and dipping ... moving to the tunes of the whistling wind, or float in the warm breath of cute lil kids....  feel good to be the very reason for their smiles.. Or even better feel good to know that they are the very reason that you're born and alive....
To be within a shell, away from the maddening world. To be born, lived and die without losing the purity and innocence you were born with, cuz you break and end at the touch of the harsh and the mean...

I still wonder how it feels to live in a bubble... but somehow.... I feel good... about not having to have lived in a bubble.....

Some day...

As I walk along the shores of the surprisingly silent sea…
my skin reflecting the golden glow back to the slowly sinking sun
a twinkle in my eyes ... tickle at my feet…
I realize how far we've come oh dear sea
Shore to shore ... Zone to zone we traveled
In our own respective realms

Together lets celebrate this moment of togetherness
Cuz tomorrow I start again.. on a different journey.. on a different  route..
before I join you.. and be within you..
Somewhere..... Some day..... on a yet another peaceful day

Square peg in a round hole

She picked up the triangular peg, and tried to fit it into the round hole.. not working.. she frowns and turns it to another angle, and tries to push it in again.... no luck... another angle.. and still not working...  She looked around and found the remaining pegs, she picked up the square one this time, though it did go a little in, a part of it was still sticking out ... she knew something was wrong.. she tapped and turned and tried... and failed again.. she tried another shape which wouldn't fit in either.. I thought she would give up this time around... she luckily picked up the round one this time... she had that smile of satisfaction as she slid this one into the hole.... as I watched my little niece play this simple game... another thought crossed my mind...

Finding true love is just like above. When we start liking someone, we feel they are the right one for us. We presume that we would fit perfectly into each others lives. As we get closer to that person, we realize a lot of differences, which would lead us to the fact that we in fact do not fit into each others life. Some people give up in life, at the first sign of incompatibility or break up. Others move on and search for the right one, going through the entire ordeal again and maybe sometimes over and over again.

Some of us, try and fit into the wrong hole, expecting time to fill in the gaping holes in the relationship. Some others expect themselves or their partners to change slowly with time and mold  into the  desired shape. That hardly works most of the time.. and more often, some would prefer to convince themselves that things are fine... Finally there are the kinds, who do not lose hope, and continue to work on their pursuit of love. They succeed in the end, and they do find that one person who would fit in perfectly, into their life.... as a part of their life.

I know a lot of people who ridicule others who keep trying for that perfect person. They mark them as fools, who doesn't seem to learn their lessons despite the pain each break ups inflicts on them. They are  are termed as non-adjusting and considered to be people who hold themselves in high regard. I personally regard such people with high esteem.

At least they do not get into a relationship expecting themselves or their partner to change over time. I admire their passion for true love.. and their trust in that person whom they have not yet met... I know there is genuine love and trust in other cases as well.... but there is an undefinable feeling that makes my heart flutter when I see such people succeed in their quest for true love... Sigh!!!

Turn around and look back

She turned and looked back... and watched as the distance between them grew... as the vision of his image slowly diminished.. she watched until he was just another spot of dust in the air.

Not a great sight to see, and you know it hurts, but still you keep doing it. Every time we physically move away from our loved ones, be it your parents, siblings, friends or lover we always tend to turn back and watch them until they are too far to be recognized. It is a human tendency to turn back and look at people, at places and even trace back through the memories and think about times gone by. I've always tried my best to stop myself from doing it.. but each time.. subconsciously I end up doing the same. Its not just me, I have seen a majority of people doing the same act of losing your mind and scanning the distances trying to recognize your loved one's among the moving spots across the distance.

I've often tried to figure out the reason why I or for that matter anybody does that. Was it because of the uncertainty... the fear that this might be the last time you would be seeing each other ?? Well.. quite not, cuz most of the times, I would very well know when I would be meeting the other person.... Is it an act to try and re-live the moments just spent ?? or is it to just see your loved one's to your hearts content?? Well I have absolutely no clue at all.... though...Each time I do that, I have a mixture of emotions churning in my heart, feelings that are completely alien to me at other times, and they do disappear pretty fast, as you turn your attention to other things, like checking out the cute guy sitting across the isle ;-)

Whatever it is,  I still haven't figured out the reason behind this looking back habit of me of many such people like me. Neither have I been able to decipher the assortment of emotions that gushes in as I do that. I try my best but in vain to stop myself from doing that. But time and again I keep repeating it, over and over again....

Any thoughts?????

A letter to a smartphone

I so envy you, you flat faced palm-sized twerp. What is it about you that takes away all her attentions on me? I still remember the day she peeped into my soul and dropped those pebbles of love inside, whispering sweet thoughts of love and life and what not. She said I, and our love will be the most important thing in her life from then on.

Ever since you busted your way into our lives things changed. Gone are those days she used to jump around and pull me out just because she was bored and she had nothing else to do. And she doesn't seem to lose her way at all these days; how I used to love it when I used to guide her whenever she lost her way to places! I always loved to be the one to help her when she was in need and it always made me feel so special. And now, YOU seem to be with her everywhere, every time,  helping her with anything and everything, and now I happen to be someone who needn't bother about it.

How I hate to envision you sleeping besides her, sharing the same pillow, feeling her so close that you can actually get the sweet smell of her. Do you know how it hurts when I know you see her undress in front of the mirror?I hate it when she kisses and strokes you, and holds you too close for even air to pass through, on the pretext of kissing her loved ones. I hate it when she laughs at all the silly gimmicks, of your stupid Talking Tomcat. With you around, she seems to be even networking while we watch movies. She is always so into you... she hardly pays me any attention even when I am talking to her, but with you ,she seems to be all ears deepening and confirming my thoughts that I seem to have taken a backseat in her life.

Well I should be the one to be blamed. Had I not introduced you to her, she would still be my sweet girl, pulling me off and hugging me tight, singing out loud, dancing her heart out, calling me up saying 'Am lost :-('. Playing wii games and watching movies. Well darling, enjoy while you can, cuz I will murder you sometime soon, and I'll see to it that I will never ever introduce her to any of your kinds.

Your end is nearing...

So GOOD BYE AND GET LOST!!!

Can't wait

Can't wait to see that cheerful face,
can't wait to hear that chirpy voice
can't wait to to see those anxious eyes
and hold you tight!! until I sigh

Can't wait to feel your curly hair
and mess it up until you mother stares
can't wait to hear your little stories
and all the cute animations that you put in

Can't wait to hold those tiny fingers
or run around the house till we're thrown outside
can't wait to get wet in the rain with you
God am dying out here to just be with you

P.S : Am going home tonight!! will be meeting my lil niece after two long months!!!
and the pic was taken during her first ever Auto trip.. and man she loved it :-)

Of Stone benches and sweet little nothings

I took a long walk today, a walk back to that stone bench, where we always spoke in silences; and read each other's thoughts on those puffy white clouds across the true blue sky;
Where we always watched the sun go down as we celebrated another day of love!!

The walk was surprisingly longer this time, can't remember walking this far back then. I thought it was closer than this but then, well..it is what it is. I saw a couple down there, on our very own stone bench or so we used to call it ;-)

They sat there in silence, head to head, cheek to cheek, shoulder to shoulder, hand in hand. Ah! just like how we used to sit!
I watched them as they spoke in silence, a language only they could understand...I watched them for a long time.... cuz that's was all I could do, I didn't want to disturb them.. and so I went back to my own memories all over again, memories of a good old sweet and innocent love....

They somehow reminded me of us, and the bond we used to share.. of the days I read your mind before you spoke it out.. of how annoyed you would feel, cuz I always managed to do that... of the bubbly talks and bouncy walks...

I felt like I was slowly being pushed forward by some force...and I was moving closer and closer to those lovely people; I had this strong urge to tell them, to be together always and never let go no matter what.... I didn't know if it was a right thing to say  to unknown strangers. But someone from deep inside of me wanted me to do that... I walked and crossed the bench.. and moved forward so I could be face to face with them... and what I saw left me dumbfounded, there  I saw us... yes you and me, just like we used to be back then... right there in flesh n bones...I turned back... and ran down the road... back to where I came from ...and while I stopped to catch my breath I realized that walk was... but a walk down my memory lane....

Lavender Lush

Although Lavender is not the color that comes to my mind when you ask me what my favorite color is, I must admit there is something to it that always delights me.

I feel like an angel when I wear a lavender dress, although I know it is for others to decide ;-)

When I feel the need to be pampered and on my own, what I look out for is my collection of lavender candles :-)

Most of my nail paints have a touch of lavender in them.

When I think of something special for anyone special, they are sure to have a touch of lavender....

My favorite wind chime is the lavender one.

I know it might look like I am cheating on blue, but my dear blue you are too perfect for me to get carried away by lavender. We've been together for too long and If I were to leave you, I would've done that long time ago. I am in a beautiful relationship with lavender, a relationship which is beyond friendship and definitely not love. Although I must admit that sometimes I can't stop myself from being engulfed by the lavender lush.

The Picture

It was a sweet little breeze... warm and soothing.. relaxing anything that it touched... it swept in through the open windows.. and gushed inside…the picture frame smiled as it brushed against the glossy shine, caressing the lovely, happy moments in the picture of good times...the moments frozen .. safely wrapped in the protective layer of glass... who swore to protect its precious one from all the worldly destructive forces... The little breeze teased the precious one... tickling it till it swayed... such a happy sight to hold... They played together.. giggling and shouting.. until they saw the storm fast approaching.. and without a hint it knocked the breeze away where to? no one could see...

The glass and the frame shook with fear holding on to their precious one... they shuddered at the sound of its evil howl... but they stood there...firm and strong... like a true knight.. protecting their princess... willing to give up their lives if needed and thus fanning the sparks of anger of the insane storm... it blew harder... spitting stones of curses at the shining knight of glass... although scratched, hurt and bruised.. but brave and unshaken was he...
The demon in the storm grew stronger and wilder unable to take on the strength or courage....it looked around… for a sign of weakness... somewhere.. anywhere.. and there it saw ...the tiny hook.. holding  on to her dear frame.... with her own life clinging over the small iron nail... with a roar of joy, the wind pulled hard at the only point of weakness... shaking it violently... until it gave up with a whimper... as it let go of its dear dear frame...

Clink! down came our picture frame with so loud a clatter.. that shook the entire world around it..rains of shattered glass flew around ... hurting the receding storm.. who went away victorious..leaving a gloomy air of silence behind... and there lied the picture... a hurting picture of happiness... overlooking  the still frame that lay besides...with the only remains of its protector lying over it.. as a symbol of its last attempt to protect her... ...

Our dear picture of happiness... lay hurt and destroyed... but the spirit of good times lingered around it...... like a living world of hopeful dreams
